On Sunday, March 8, 2026, a woman in her 30s was arrested after firing multiple shots at pop superstar Rihanna's Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. local time when the suspect arrived in a white Tesla, parked across the street from the property, and fired between 7 to 10 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle toward the home. According to law enforcement sources, at least one bullet penetrated the exterior wall of the mansion, and shots also struck the property's gate and a vehicle parked in front.

Rihanna was inside the home at the time of the shooting along with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. The suspect fled the scene heading south on Coldwater Canyon Drive after the shooting. Police responded quickly and apprehended the woman within approximately three minutes at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center, about eight miles away from the crime scene. Authorities recovered the firearm used in the attack.

The investigation is being led by the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division. Police have not released the identity of the suspect, and the motive behind the attack remains unknown as authorities continue their investigation. The incident has drawn significant media attention due to Rihanna's global celebrity status and the brazen nature of the attack on her private residence.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have not made any public statements about the incident. The couple lives in a colonial-style mansion in Beverly Hills's Post Office neighborhood with their three children. This marks a serious security breach at the home of one of the world's most famous entertainers, raising concerns about celebrity safety and security measures for high-profile individuals in Los Angeles.
