
Duterte's ICC Case Advances; Victims' Kin Welcome Naming of Alleged Co-Perpetrators, Including Dela Rosa and Go
The International Criminal Court (ICC) is proceeding with pre-trial proceedings against former President Rodrigo Duterte for alleged crimes against humanity. Victims' relatives welcomed the identification of eight alleged co-perpetrators, notably Senators Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa and Christopher 'Bong' Go, whose names appeared in a 'lesser redacted' ICC filing.
The pre-trial proceedings of former President Rodrigo Duterte for three counts of crime against humanity of murder will proceed before the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. A group of drug war victims' relatives, Rise Up for Life and for Rights, welcomed the release of a "lesser redacted" ICC filing that identified eight alleged co-perpetrators, including Sens. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa and Christopher “Bong” Go, among other former and current government and police officials.
